License types

Lookup2 licenses are available for a variety of usage scenarios:

  • „node-locked“: Permanent activation of individual workstation computers on our license server. The license is permanently linked to this computer until possible later deactivation.

  • „floating license“: Short-term reservation of a license from a license pool by the license server during software usage (10 or more „floating license“ licenses)

Choose whether you prefer to buy or rent our software:

  • Purchase: you acquire a perpetual license of Lookup2 including all the modules you want. Maintenance in the first year is included. From the second year on, a maintenance fee of 20% on the purchase price is due, which guarantees continued access to all license-related services including updates and, of course, continued support from our support team. Subsequent maintenance is optional. Suspending or canceling payment of a follow-up maintenance beyond any grace period we may grant will automatically terminate the maintenance agreement. Subsequent reactivation is not possible.

  • Lease: You purchase a license including all modules you request for the duration of the software rental. Our maintenance options including all future updates are included for the duration of the lease. The rental relationship lasts at least one year and is automatically extended by the payment of the subsequent rent. The rent is generally payable annually in advance.

Quantity discounts

Quantity discounts apply to the current purchase:

  • from 25 licenses: 10 %
  • from 50 licenses: 20 %

Our worldwide store partner and reseller is 2checkout, or Verifone Payments, formerly known as Avangate. 2checkout allows you and us to smoothly process all orders and payments in approximately 60 currencies and in over 30 languages. 2Checkout operates our shopping cart and processes all payments worldwide on their own account, but on our behalf. Both their invoice and credit card statements clearly show this relationship.

2checkout is also managed by us to automatically collect and manage regularly recurring payments such as maintenance fees for purchased products or the annual software rental. Therefore, if you have any questions or problems with your payment, please contact 2checkout customer service.
